Here are a few pictures of our favorite food experiences. All delicious, some divine, a few sublime.
Artichoke and prosciutto pizza. Roasted morels and gnocchi in a creamy truffle sauce. Both at the charming restaurant, L'Arione , in San Remo, Italy.

Latte, fresh pressed orange juice, and tatin. (Which is the traditional French breakfast of a half a baguette, butter and jam.) At our favorite cafe in Cannes. My favorite breakfast of the trip.

Tartuflete, French onion soup, and blueberry tarte in a small restaurant in the main square of Chamonix. Amazing lunch.
Beoef Bourgignon and moutarde de Dijon. (That pot is coming home with me in my suitcase!)
Roasted veggie bagel, with frites and remoulade sauce at Le Cafe Des InitiƩs in Paris. Delightful.
And, now for Darby's top food experiences.

Pschitt! Yes, that is really the name of a brand of sprite-type (the French call it lemonade) drink here.
Ice cream in Cannes.

Chocolate monton in Chamonix.
Pan chocolat. Everyday. At least once.
Chicken flavored lays, with thyme. NOT. Disgusting. She fed them to the swans at Versailles.
