Service, with a smile

Wandering around the city today, trying to avoid the rain, and lo and behold...we found the Mecca of shoes.

I know, I got goosebumps, too. The displays were tres chic. It looked like shoes going to a galactic heaven.

So, while I was trying to take a picture of the front window, a couple walked up. They jiggled the handle, which was locked. The security guard came over to the door, opened it a crack, held up his hand to tell them to wait, then locked the door.

What ran thru my head was either a) a VIP is is in there or b) those people just got dissed. So, I walked around to the side window to see what was up. I didn't see Madonna, Victoria Beckham (I had my fingers crossed) or the French call girl from my previous post.

Then I remembered something I read on the service at Christian Louboutin. If there isn't a free salesperson, they won't let you in. Nice. They don't want you to be in the store without one person devoted to your needs.

I guess if you're going to spend upwards of $1,000.00 on a pair of shoes, you deserve your own person.

Waiting. For shoes and your own sales girl.

The reward.

I guess I'll be waiting for my shoes and my person till my next trip. Sigh.
